NAME GIVING- WELCOMING A NEW NAME TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS

I offer to join you at this very special time to conduct a ceremony that celebrates a new life and inclusion in your family. The excitement of a gathering before the child’s godparents, family members and special friends is a time to reflect the importance of the naming of a child, in sharing the commitment to become involved in the child’s developing life and taking on the interests of their future in a family that has already welcomed them in love.

I always feel very privileged to become involved in the planning of your naming ceremony for your child and offer my assistance to you in providing a sincere and meaningful event that will share your baby’s story and express your love and wishes for your child. I will work with you to put a unique ceremony together with special readings by those you wish to have involved on the day and will compliment the service by background music and perhaps a selection of poetry or any legacy left to a child that becomes symbolic of their welcome to your family.

For your child’s keepsake a presentation Certificate will be provided and members of the Naming Ceremony will be presented with personalised certificates in recognition of their bond to your child.
